A stunning 1925 LaFrance Fire Truck in fiery red, with black interior/seating upon a solid hardwood base.
It features an upgraded automatic transmission with dash-mounted shifter.
There are diamond-plate running boards, red spoke wheels, brass rails and it features an inline four-cylinder engine and a Weber carburettor.
This 1925 LaFrance Fire Truck is a fine example of an emergency vehicle. Produced by American LaFrance, one of the oldest and most storied manufacturers of fire apparatus in the United States.
The company’s roots can be traced back to 1873 when they built hand-held firefighting equipment. They soon moved on to horse-drawn apparatus and in 1904, began fitting their equipment to truck chassis.
