This is a resplendent 1935 Bentley Le Mans Petersen Speed 8 Special. The Chassis number is b125dk, and the engine is a Bentley 8-cylinder inline b81 sv 6515 cc – 681a2.
It was completed by Bob Petersen Engineering to a very high standard. The gearbox is a modified Bentley MKVI, whilst the overdrive is a Petersen Laycock.
In beautiful British racing green, the interior is green Connolly leather with green Wilton wool carpet. It has an ash frame wide body ‘Le Mans’ style with high back seats fitted with heated seat base and back lumbar support. There is a folding screen with aero screens, and double duck hood with tonneau cover. Wind excluders are present on the side. Twin leather saddles feature on the doors. Furthermore, there is an exterior locking toolkit with leather straps. A smart leather map pocket also features. The dashboard machine is turned aluminium with team car instruments.
This 1935 Bentley Le Mans is very well preserved and would make a beautiful additional to any collection.
