A beautifully executed and very stylish 1953 MG TD Supercharged Special, the design was inspired by Miles Collier’s MG racer “Leonidas” and entered into the 1939 24-Hours of Le Mans.
Featuring a striking, hand-formed aluminium bodywork with boat-tail styling and comes in stunning blue paint with polished aluminium cycle fenders.
It has a four-cylinder MG engine with period supercharger and an upgraded five-speed manual transmission; a Bluemens Brooklands steering wheel and an engine-turned dash with Smiths and Jaeger instrumentation. Furthermore it comes with a fitted Brooklands windscreen, Marchal headlamps, racing style quick-fill fuel cap, Dunlop racing tires on chrome knock-off wire wheels, and Alfin drum brakes.
This 1953 MG TD Supercharged is a two-time California Mille participant.
